Powerball Jackpot Soars After August 13th Drawing

The Powerball jackpot continues to climb, reaching an estimated $565 million after no ticket matched all six winning numbers in the drawing held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The winning numbers were 4, 11, 40, 44, 50, with the Powerball being 4. The Power Play multiplier for this drawing was 3x.

While the grand prize remains unclaimed, several players across the country celebrated significant wins. Three tickets—sold in New Hampshire, Oregon, and Texas—successfully matched all five white balls, earning their holders a $1 million prize each.

Additionally, thousands of other players won smaller but still substantial prizes by matching a combination of numbers. For example, a number of tickets matched four of the white balls and the Powerball, winning a $50,000 prize. Some of those tickets, with the Power Play option, saw their winnings tripled to $150,000.

The jackpot now stands at a massive $565 million, with an estimated cash value of $258.8 million. This considerable sum is sure to drive ticket sales and a frenzy of excitement for the next drawing, scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. EST. The odds of winning the jackpot are incredibly long, at 1 in 292,201,338. However, the overall odds of winning any prize are much better, at 1 in 24.87. As the jackpot continues to swell, players are once again dreaming of a life-changing windfall.
