NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA - A female bicyclist was injured in a collision with a car on Watt Avenue in North Highlands on Tuesday morning, July 29. The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Palomino Lane Alley.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the bicyclist was struck by a white Hyundai Palisade SUV while she was in the intersection. Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene and provided initial treatment to the injured woman before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further care. The severity of her injuries has not been publicly disclosed, but the incident was classified as a traffic collision with injuries.
